Today was one of those days where the state of the world was really getting me down. I decided to experiment with a new cookie recipe that added all of my favorite cookie mix-ins into one cookie! I call it the “everything but the kitchen sink” cookie. Try it out and feel free to add in your own favorite mix-ins!
Cookie
1 Cup butter softened
1 Cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ¼ cups flour
⅓ cup Hershey’s special dark cocoa powder
1 Cup marshmallows cut into quarters
⅓ cup mini m and m’s
⅓ cup peanut butter chips
⅓ cup chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cream together the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time. Beat in cocoa powder and flour one cup at a time. Stir in the marshmallows, m and m’s, chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips.
Using a tablespoon, spoon cookies onto a greased cookie sheet leaving about ½ inch between each cookie. Bake for ten minutes. Take off of the cookie sheet while still warm and place on wire cooling rack. (You’ll have to work quick or the marshmallow will harden and stick to the cookie sheet.
Let cool and enjoy :)
